The service

RekonPro (“we”) provides software for running an auto repair or collision shop. By creating an account, sending a sign-up request or using the service, the business you represent (“you”, the shop) agrees to these terms and to the privacy policy.

Who can use it

RekonPro is for businesses. You must be at least 18 and allowed to accept these terms for the shop. You are responsible for the people you give access to, for keeping passwords private, and for what is done with your shop's accounts.

Plans and billing

• Plans are priced per shop location, monthly or yearly, in U.S. dollars, as listed on the pricing page. The price you see is the price you pay; nothing is added without your agreement.
• Plans are paid in advance by card through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. We tell you at least 30 days before any price change, and the new price applies from your next renewal.
• Owners with two or more locations pay each location's plan plus the multi-shop fee per location shown on the pricing page.
• You can change plans in the app (Settings → Subscription). A bigger plan starts right away and your card is charged the difference for the rest of the current period. A smaller plan starts at your next renewal.
• If a renewal can't be charged, Stripe tries again and the app shows the shop's admins how to pay. After 15 days late, the shop opens only its Subscription page until the payment is made; no data is lost.
• Optional one-time services (data migration, integration setup) are quoted and agreed before we start, and billed when ordered.
• Services you connect, such as Twilio, Stripe or PartsTech, are billed to you by those providers under their own terms. We add no markup.
• Payments are not refunded; see the refund policy.

Cancellation

There is no long-term contract. An admin of the shop can cancel at any time in the app (Settings → Subscription), or by emailing [email protected]. Renewal stops right away and payments already made are not refunded. The shop keeps full access until the last day paid for and then closes. Until then, the admin can undo the cancellation in the same place. When you cancel, we may ask why and make one offer, such as a smaller plan or help setting up; you can always decline it and finish cancelling on the same screen.

Your data

You own the data you put into RekonPro. You can download it at any time (Settings → Shop Profile → Your data). After you cancel, we keep it for 30 days so you can download it, then delete it, including backups, within 30 more days, unless the law requires us to keep part of it. We use your data only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.

Your responsibilities

• The estimates, invoices, prices and taxes you issue, and following the rules for repair shops in your state (in Florida, the Motor Vehicle Repair Act, including written estimates and the customer's authorization).
• Having your customers' consent before you text or email them through RekonPro, honoring opt-outs (RekonPro stops texts when a customer replies STOP), and following the laws on calls, texts and email, such as the TCPA and CAN-SPAM.
• Telling your customers how you use their information, and answering their requests about their records.
• Not using the service to break the law, send spam, upload harmful code, try to reach other shops' data, or overload or copy the service.

Availability and support

We work to keep the service available and backed up every night, and provide support by email at [email protected] on business days. We may improve or change features over time and will tell you before removing anything you rely on. Planned maintenance happens outside shop hours when possible.

Suspension

Late payments work as described under Plans and billing. We may also pause a shop right away if an account is used to break these terms or put other shops at risk. Your data stays intact while the shop is paused.

Disclaimers and limits

Labor times, vehicle data and tax calculations are tools to help you; check them before you rely on them. The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We post changes on this page with a new date. If a change is significant, we tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect; if you don't agree, you can cancel before then.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Before going to court, we both agree to try to solve any dispute by talking for 30 days. Any case will be heard in the courts of Orange County, Florida.
